Advertising / Web Services Sales Position
AdsValue advertising agency seeks full-time independent inside / outside sales persons for advertising and web services to small and medium sized businesses. Initially seeking two persons in the Phoenix AZ metro area - one for general accounts and one for larger accounts. More positions expected soon.
Sales of products and services preferably done full time, and can generally be done around school schedules, family commitments, staggered work schedules, part-time, after hours, while convalescing, etc. - basically anywhere you have a phone and internet connectivity.
Position Description
Sales of advertising and web services solutions to small and medium sized businesses
Product focus - Internet-based Pay-Per-Click accounts, web sites, digital magazines, and sales leads. Most all other ad products can be sold.

Minimum Job Tasks
Research potential prospects on the internet or other ways to provide advertising solutions
Be effective at finding and closing new business opportunities, building relationships, and growing existing accounts
Prepare necessary proposals, correspondence, presentations, etc. to encourage use of our products/services
Phone sales /email sales - contact prospects, or meet prospects at your discretion
Transact orders, collect / prepare project information, monitor account / project progress
As requested, provide initial customer service interface and support

- Reliable color scanner and fax machine (fax capabilities in / out)
- General software skills - spreadsheet, word processing, email, others

1. Sales Design – the sales model is based on meeting a slower economy with reasonably priced products and services, while providing opportunities for competent people caught up in this mess to make good compensation with reasonable effort and minimal overhead and experience. By removing the overhead of management, facilities, and commuting, and using existing resources, we provide a win-win-win for the salesperson, our clients, and AdsValue. Once a prospect becomes a satisfied client, it is desired that other advertising and web services are presented to them.
2. What to Sell – to start, we want to focus on internet /digital related products – such as PPC accounts, digital magazines, web sites and services and sales leads. You can sell any product we offer; however we will discuss specifics as an opportunity presents itself. Products are proven standard mainstream products and custom work. Generally easy to learn basics enough to represent.
3. Commissions – varies per product sold. Paid after we get paid, and once a month or as agreed. You will be provided a 1099 for your taxes. A competent person is anticipated to gross $1000 week within 2 months or sooner (one account can do that alone). There is no limit to how much you can make. If you decide to no longer provide services to AdsValue, your residuals may continue for up to one year for an active account. Specific commission guidelines as amended detail the commission plan.
4. Operational Costs – estimated that once you have a computer, printer, software, etc, that your “business” should have minimal overhead – probably about $100 - $125/month which you are probably paying already (broadband internet, phone service, office supplies, etc.), so possibly a net zero cost, and it now could be tax-deductible.
5. Your Location – initially desire persons to be located in and service the Phoenix metro area, but sales can be done anywhere in the US over the phone / internet.
6. Taxes / Licenses – you are responsible to pay any taxes, licenses, fee, penalties, fines, etc. related to your subcontract operation. If you need a license for your city to operate, you need to acquire it, and maintain it.
7. Sales Cycle – generally short – get the prospect to commit and it could be only one day
8. Sales Leads - none to minimal - do your homework / keep you eyes open - millions of possibilities
9. Proposals / Presentations – you decide on what is needed. Sometimes none is required; other times maybe 1 page, 2 pages, etc. depending on the opportunity.
10. Collateral – no printed collateral used – all electronic. Print in color if you want.
11. Sales Support / Training – new web site in-work for sales–only support. Will have collateral, product descriptions, FAQ’s, forms, sales guidelines, and any other support information. Minimal training offered.
12. Hours – flexible – interested in results – not when you get those results.
13. Contact – be able to be contacted by AdsValue mostly during day time work hours, and occasionally before / after to address your needs. These are not traditional 9 to 5 jobs. Check email regularly, respond to AdsValue / prospects / clients in a very timely manner – typically same day and less than 24 hours maximum on weekdays.
